Dr. Elizondo was born in California. She obtained her B.S. degree from U.C. Santa Cruz and graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry in 1986. She is the wife of the late, Dr. Sorin Marinescu. Together they opened Sudbury Family Dental Care in 1993. She has 2 children. Dr. Elizondo-Marinescu enjoys golfing, reading and traveling with her family.

Dr. Marinescu was born in Romania and moved to the United States during his teenage years. He received a B.S. in Biology from Lehman College in New York. He was a 1986 graduate of Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry. Dr. Marinescu enjoyed sports, reading, and traveling with his wife, Dr. Maria Elizondo-Marinescu, and their 2 children.
Dr Marinescu succumbed to a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on, February 1, 2019. He is truly missed by all. His spirit, zest for life, and love of his family and friends will always remain a part of Sudbury Family Dental Care.
